Canyoning in Bariloche

In San Carlos de Bariloche you can do canyoning, a type of adventure tour combining hiking with climbing and swimming in pools, canyons and rapids. To practise this sport you can hire the services of an agency selling this kind of excursions.

This outing includes jumping from natural springboards to deep pools, crossing the river with your team, walking on the rocks, rappel climbing in cascades and plenty of adrenaline.

The necessary garment includes a helmet, a harness and a neoprene jacket, which can be hired from the operator.
For those who wish to go canyoning for the first time, we recommend the 45 m. high cascade in Arroyo de la Virgen called Salto del Vasco.
