Evita Museum, located in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo, is one of the most

The Evita Museum opened its doors on the 50th anniversary of Eva's death, on July 26 of 2002, at the headquarters of the Eva Perón National Institute for Historical Research. Evita's legacy

The Evita Museum is located in the Casa Carabassa, designed by the renowned architect Estanislao Pirovano and built in the first decade of the 20th century. The Eva Perón Foundation bought the building in the early 1950s, renovated it, and turned it into “Hogar de Tránsito No. 2”, a temporary shelter for women and children
The thematic exhibition covers the life of Eva in a linear and chronological way, with original material, vintage audiovisuals and moments recreated thanks to modern technology. It is completed with an important patrimony of personal objects, family memories, donations, and graphic material. Items including books, magazines, official documents, photographs, toys, typewriters, and calendars.
However, there is temporary exhibition of clothes, hats, and shoes to show all their outfits. Finally, a room has been set up to recreates the kitchen of “Hogar de Tránsito N° 2”, with all its objects and facilities.
