This is one of the longest-awaited events in the area and it is celebrated at 25 de Mayo Boulevard, in the open air and with great attendance.
Already a tradition in
Entre Ríos, carnival is a popular manifestation organized by local communities when the summer comes and
La Paz is no exception. This cultural expression merges color, dancing and music.
Carnival at La Paz is becoming one of the most transcendent in the Paraná region. Organized by an executive committee in which all local
comparsas as well as the municipality take part, they aim at creating an ample participation space for the carnival parades and the ideal site to show them off is the riverfront, in the area called “the Port”. During the weekends of January and February, when the local and visiting
comparsas start to parade to the rhythm of Brazilian
samba and tasty
Río de la Plata candombe, the audience mingles and takes part in the dancing becoming a new protagonist of the show.
The glowing sequins and colorful feathers light up the summer in the City of La Paz and offer an amusing and warm family show.
