Beach club in Mina Clavero

In the Traslasierra region, Mina Clavero stands out as the destination where the concentration of its rivers and streams creates a dreamy and relaxing landscape. Three main rivers along with a multitude of streams offer a wide variety of spas and refuges for visitors seeking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse themselves in the tranquility of nature. The beachs and rest areas offer a sanctuary to enjoy the mountain environment.

The Mina Clavero river represents the natural beauty of the province of Córdoba. It originates in the Altas Cumbres and runs through part of the town. It then joins with the warm waters of the Panaholma River to form the Los Sauces River. Some resorts are preferred for their complete services, while others invite you to discover their wild and rugged environment.

La Toma

This beach is located just 5 km from downtown with a unique beauty that captivates, where natural slides and crystal clear pools alternate with the rocky landscape. With teahouse services, grocery store and paid parking, enjoyment is assured. Swimming, resting in the sun and sliding down the slides make this place a paradise of relaxation and fun.

Nido del Águila

This natural pool, with its 10 meters deep and 50 meters long, challenges intrepid divers and lovers of aquatic activities. Very close to downtown, just 15 blocks away, the Mina Clavero River is embedded between imposing granite walls, creating an ideal setting for adventure and amazement.

Balneario Central

It is located in the heart of the city. With a historic municipal swimming pool, built between 1924 and 1932, it is the favorite place for those who wish to enjoy the river just a few steps away from the city center. During the low season, this bathing resort comes alive with music and activities on the sand and becomes the epicenter of events for the whole family.

Los Cajones and Los Elefantes

This is a pair of natural beaches located along the Los Sauces River. The water meanders through a closed basin at Los Cajones, giving rise to rapids and deep pools that are the delight of visitors. At the end of Los Cajones, the rocky silhouette known as Los Elefantes continues, where the basin opens up and water cascades down a waterfall.

Los Cedros

With its shallow waters and rocky riverbed, Los Cedros is a favorite spot for families with children, where an extensive natural pool created by the river's reservoir under the bridge is an added treat. There, sunny days warm the waters of the Panaholma River, providing a temperate environment perfect for swimming and relaxing.

La Palmita

It is a paradise of deep waters and exuberant nature that attracts those seeking the wildest serenity. Located just over an hour's walk from the La Toma resort, the trail winds through native plants. Where the Hondo River meets the Mina Clavero River, the views range from the sierras to the mountain range of the Pampa de Achala.

Remanso Cuadrado

Further on, in the course of the Mina Clavero River, is the Remanso Cuadrado, an oasis of lush vegetation and crystal clear waters that reflect the peace of the environment. However, reaching this paradise requires a three-hour hike through intricate trails. Nature reveals its wildest and most sublime side, ideal for an intense hike and then a dip to cool off.
