Caviahue ski resort lies at the foot of Copahue Volcano, 1,647 meters MSL, immersed in one of the most stunning spots in the Andes Mountain Range.
Besides its forests, lakes and rivers, Caviahue welcomes tourists to entertain them not only with ski but also with the volcanic mineral properties of its hot spring waters. All this is surrounded by the most breathtaking natural scenery.
A thousand hectares are available to ski every winter. One of the longest ski seasons in the southern hemisphere is enjoyed at this location.
Visitors can ski around historical forests of conifers and monkey-puzzle trees along one of the more than twenty trails offered by the resort, always watched by the unmistakable silhouette of the Copahue Volcano. There is no doubt that after skiing, a hot spring bath is an invitation to relax.

How to get there: The winter resort lies 357 kilometers away from the City of Neuquén and 1,500 km from Buenos Aires. It is accessed through paved National Route 22 and Provincial Routes 21 and 26.
Climate: In the winter, temperatures range between -4º and 11º C.
Activities: Downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, sleds pulled by Siberian dogs and snowshoeing across the forests.
