Basavilbaso Hot Springs

Soon after we left the district, a regional path leads to the access to Basavilbaso Hot Spring Resort. Four large-sized water bodies are the core of an extensive park where everything has been designed to provide energy and health.

As we entered, we felt we were in full contact with nature and the rural atmosphere. The distant horizon, the layout of the facilities and the polite manners of the locals made us feel as if we were at home.

We were given the necessary instructions to take the baths in a more beneficial way. Also, we were informed about the slightly alkaline mineral components that emerge naturally from underground layers located over a thousand meters deep. The benefits obtained by our bodies are countless.

We changed at the dressing rooms and started our tour around the different pools whose waters looked crystal-clear and impeccably clean. We got inside one of them up to our neck and soon got used to the temperature of the liquid.

After having enjoyed the pools, we went around the facilities and had lunch at the coquettish restaurant. The highly varied menu helped us recover our energy. Well-known wine labels and reasonable prices were an added value. Through the large windows, we watched the people coming and going outside. Just like us, they were making the most of a day of complete physical relax.

This site is an invitation to spend the night at some of its bungalows, as well as enjoy a body massage or face treatment at its spa. All this is completed by a eucalyptus woodland providing enough shade to make an asado or have a picnic. Visitors who wish to rent a bike will find out an even more relaxing option
