The Cities of Cipolletti and Neuquén share a cultural heritage due to their proximity to one another. Paraje Confluencia Museum, located at Neuquén's Central Park, has a collection of photographic and bibliographic elements as well as documents that keep the memory of their urban pasts alive.
We reached the old railway buildings to see the collections displayed in three houses raised in 1930 for the staff working at Ferrocarril del Sud. This site used to be known as Colonia Número 6 and it still preserves its original English style. The museum stands next to the Gregorio Álvarez Museum and Emilio Saracco Art Room.
At the municipal building, this museum houses both permanent and temporary collections, a library and a reading room. Likewise, some daily items include woven items, as well as animal and vegetable fossil remains found in Northern Patagonia.
