After breakfast and having heard some tips about Mar del Plata, the moment came to go in search of some of the must-visit museums in the city. Juan Carlos Castagnino Municipal Art Museum is an emblem of plastic arts in this seaside destination and concentrates the work of well-known local and international artists. Besides, the Mar del Plata Contemporary Art Museum (famous for its sea lion made of alfajores Havanna wrappings, has become one of the major attractions on the Atlantic Coast every summer. So has Cleto Ciocchini Port Man Museum and the Sea Museum, both of which rescue sea life and people.

Time to pay a visit to the famous port of Mar del Plata to taste some specialty including fish and seafood. It is impossible to visit Mar del Plata and missing its port. It is ideal to understand the idiosyncrasy of its people in a city where the aroma of the sea is breathed everyday. Fishing is the source of income of many families here. After a stroll along the beach, we feel thrilled and tired at the same time. Undoubtedly, we get to see places that tempt us back. One of them is Torreón del Monje, a mythical spot in this beautiful city. Another one is the golf course, which in addition to offering one of the hardest courses in the world, features spectacular views of the ocean from each one of its holes. These places are well worth a visit.
