One of the most imposing walks in Villa de Merlo is the Serrano Edge, a place very close to the clouds. Only about 20 km from the city, by the faldeo de los Comechingones, on the edge of the provinces of San Luis and Córdoba, the viewpoints that run along the edge offer magnificent views of the Conlara Valley, even to the Calamuchita Valley.
Panoramic view of the entire valley
Starting from the city, The Avenues Del Sol and the Caesars lead to the mountainous region, where the houses are intertaved in the surroundings and then leave room for the Rincón del Este Nature Reserve. The road becomes winding, mountain road, but in good condition.
The first panoramic point is the Mirador del Sol, at a height of 1470 meters above sea level. There the views show the entire Conlara Valley and beyond the Sierras de San Luis. The slopes of this system descend to merge with the valley. This viewpoint brings together local artisans.
Continuing on the edge, the next stop is the Mirador de los Condores. On the edge of the mountains, the height reaches 2200 meters above sea level at the summit of the Blanco hill and the different points of interest show all the extreme beauty of the valley. Weather permitting, you can see it all the way to the Calamuchita Valley.
