Whales at Valdés Peninsula
This tourist region encloses the seaside cities of Puerto Pirámides, on the very Valdés Peninsula, Puerto Madryn and Rawson, with its coquettish and eye-catching Union Beach. All of them boast sea geographical features and they are true reservoirs of local wildlife, among which right whales, orcas and dolphins, as well as elephant seals and a wide array of sea birds, mainly represented by penguins, prevail.
