At the source of La Leona river, on Lake Viedma, there lies the shell of this particular
estancia and its lodge, both called “La Estela”, surrounded by one of the most spectacular landscapes in Patagonia:
Lake Viedma and its glacier and the silhouettes of Mounts
Fitz Roy and
Torre, two of the most difficult to climb in the whole world. A memorable tourist destination, activities include the horseback rides that leave from the
estancia and tour around a large portion of the shore of Lake Viedma. Angling is also coveted among visitors. Specimens of rainbow and salmon trout, as well as perch, may be caught all along La Leona River and on the shores of Lake Viedma.
