Canopy in Ushuaia

At the foot of the Martial Glacier, a few kilometers from the center of ushuaia, canopy is an alternative to enjoy the natural environments of the capital of Fueguina. Between trees, zip lines and suspension bridges, the incredible feeling of flying through the forest is as real as it is inspiring to come into contact with the southernmost nature.

A challenge full of excitement
Martial Glacier Mountain Center is located 7 km from the centre. The path is simple and back to the city is downhill, which adds another seasoning for those who are encouraged to take a walk. It is an ideal environment to enjoy trekking and mountain activities. In the summer season the proposals are expanded and thus the invitation of Canopy Ushuaia is added at the base of the glacier.

In several destinations in South America, canopy is a booming activity for adventure tourism lovers. In Ushuaia the gentle slopes of the Martial Mountains and its mixed forests of lengas and coihues are an ideal place to practice it.

A complete equipment of harnesses, carabiners, pulleys, helmets and gloves gives us all the security to slide down the wires from one tree to the other to appreciate the panoramic landscape from the heights. After an introductory talk and a practice zip line, the team of Canopy Ushuaia instructors leads the group to the first platform. The complex has 2 circuits of 7 and 9 zip lines. The first is ideal for large groups and the second also has 2 suspension bridges that add a more adrenaline rush.

The mountain retreat has a lunch proposal, ideal for enjoying a mountain stew or a lamb casserole, or savoring a hot chocolate. The night canopy is an option to enjoy the resort with other sensory expectations.
