The City of Concepción del Uruguay is the great protagonist in this region of Entre Ríos, together with the famous San José Palace, after which this micro-region, "The Palace Roads", has been named. This building dazzles visitors taking them on a journey back in time to the days of the political organization of our country.
The Palace, which used to be the residence of Justo José de Urquiza, first constitutional president of Argentina, today houses a Museum and is a National Historical Monument and a must visit in the region. Carnivals in the summer and hot springs year round contribute to the tourist office of Concepción.
Carnival at Concepción del Uruguay takes hold of the months of January and February. Like on previous occasions.
Located at the access to the city, on the Uruguay River Corridor road, the hot springs of Concepción are ideal to be enjoyed year round.
We present one of the most important mansions in Entre Ríos. Discover the most intimate corners of General Justo José de Urquiza’s home when you visit the Palacio San José.
