Villa Traful Waterfront

There are people who remember Villa Traful just like it used to be on its early days. Today, they assure it remains as beautiful as always because constant innovation works are being carried out which make it even more friendly. Its paved waterfront drive and the cycle track that runs alongside it have given new life to the coast area.

Season after season, this town overlooking Lake Traful amazes visitors with works that embellish its appearance. The new track and the interpretation center surrounded by gardens are the new viewpoints in the village. The purpose of this center is to lodge the tourist office but also to offer the chance to organize shows, conventions and events throughout the year.

We visited Traful on a warm day, ideal to go for a walk. The stone wall by the waterfront invited us to make a stop, sit down and make visual contact with that eye-catching huge mass of water. Everything was before us. The ample sky, the hills on the other margin and the unstoppable activity of motorboats, sailing boats and kite-surfing enthusiasts with their sails unfolding in the wind added pleasure to our outing without any need for us to do anything.

The boardwalk spans to both sides of the main pier, right in front of the civic center and by the road that accesses the district. The latter was conditioned in the last few years by initiative of the local denizens. That is how the infrastructure of the village is strengthened by leaps and bounds. It is a must visit indeed.
